Christopher Ruben Studdard best known as Ruben Studdard is an American pop R&B and gospel singer. He rose to fame as winner of the second season of American Idol. He received a Grammy Award nomination in December 2003 for Best Male R&B Vocal Performance for Superstar.
Clay Aiken and Ruben Studdard have announced they are going on tour together this summer. Aiken was runner-up and Studdard the winner of Season 2 on "American Idol" back in 2003, a close race. Two American Idol alumna Clay Aiken and Ruben Studdard, have announced their combined summer tour, the Timeless Tour. The duo will begin their Timeless tour in Asheville, North Carolina from July 23 and take the tour to 16 more places.

The duo will begin their Timeless tour in Asheville, North Carolina from July 23 and take the tour to 16 more places, including New York and Biloxi, Mississippi. Clay Aiken said, "I couldn't ask for a better tour mate. Ruben Studdard echoed the same about Aiken. The Biltmore concert was among a few of the Timeless Tour tour dates that were announced today. In this leg, the two American Idol alumna will perform on July 23 at the South Terrace.
